Shannon Payne has always loved color along with the warmth and happiness that it can bring us. After a family tragedy, Shannon started to use her love of color as Art Therapy and began to investigate the world of abstract acrylic painting. Shannon taught herself to use acrylic, iridescent, & metallic paints along with mica powder and resin, to bring her art to life. For inspiration, Shannon looks to the beauty of creation that surrounds us such as flowers, animals, oceans, the sky, mountains, northern lights, landscapes etc.Shannon continues to grow her knowledge and experiment with different techniques and colors to enhance her functional and creative pieces of art along with her painted canvases.
Shannon's hope is that her colorful pieces of art will put a smile on your face and bring you warmth and happiness.
